Easy Healthy Homemade Popsicles

  • 1/4 cup cool water
  • 1 tbsp plain gelatin (You can use Knox packets. I just buy it in bulk because we use so much gelatin.)
  • 1/4 cup almost boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cup juice of choice
  • 1/4 cup yogurt flavor of choice or whipping cream (optional)


  1. Pour cool water in a bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over top. Whisk gently and let it sit for 10 minutes or until the gelatin has absorbed the water and thickened.

  2. Add the hot water and whisk until the gelatin is dissolved.

  3. Add the juice and whisk.

  4. If you are adding yogurt or cream, whisk it in.

  5. Pour into popsicle molds, paper cups or ice cube trays. Place in the freezer for 4 hours or until frozen solid.

  6. Run mold under hot water for a few seconds to loosen frozen popsicels before removing them. If frozen in a paper cup, simply rip the paper from the popsicle.
